These terms and conditions of sale apply to the sale of all goods between THE ALBANY GALLERY LIMITED whose principle place of business is at 74B Albany Road, Cardiff CF24 3RS, and any visitors to the aforementioned premises or visitors to the website www.albanygallery.com. For all pre and post-sale enquiries, please contact info@albanygallery.com or telephone 029 2078 9171 during office hours. These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
Making A Purchase
Our prices are in GBP. We accept all major debit/credit cards, and national and international bank transfers in GBP.
Availability of the artworks displayed on our website is not guaranteed.
Descriptions of Goods
Every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that our descriptions are accurate; sizes given are approximate. There may, however, be some slight variations (and this should be expected) between what you see and what you receive, which you agree to accept, provided the variations are not substantial. We may correct any typographical or other errors or omissions in any catalogue sale literature, quotation or other document relating to the sale of the goods without liability to you. Framing is included in the price unless otherwise stated.
Rights to the image remain with the artist or the estate of the artist. The purchase of an artwork does not confer the right or licence to use the image for commercial or any other purposes.
Risk in the goods passes on collection or on delivery of the goods to the address stated in your order.
Title to the goods will pass to you only when full payment has been made for them.
Shipping And Handling
Shipping within the UK is FREE on an item over £2000.
Standard shipping of £30 will be applied to an item up to the value of £2000.
We reserve the right to increase the cost of shipping for bulky and heavy items and will contact you to make the necessary arrangements. A reduced shipping cost may apply for smaller items on request. If you feel your item falls into this category please contact the gallery.
Delivery options are usually via Mail Boxes Etc or Royal Mail and a tracking number will be provided to you by email.
For international shipping please contact the gallery on 029 2078 9171 or email info@albanygallery.com to obtain a quote. We will inform you of the expected delivery period but cannot guarantee delivery times. Please be aware that delays can occur at customs. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import duties being charged once a parcel reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipient.
Delivery Schedule
UK orders will be processed within 7 days of purchase and delivery usually takes 3-5 working days, however for events out of our control may take longer.
Returns Policy
If you are not happy with your online purchase, please inform us within 48 hours of receipt via email, giving your reason and whether you wish to return the item or exchange the item purchased for a different item. You will be responsible for paying return postage costs on any returned items and a refund will be issued for the item providing it is received in good order and in the original packaging. If you do not substitute your order for another product, the cost of the standard shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
For goods viewed and purchased in the gallery itself an exchange could be made for an alternative product, a gift voucher or a credit note issued to the value of the exchanged item. Please note that for hygiene reasons, items of jewellery cannot be returned unless faulty.
Gift Vouchers
Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Lost, stolen or destroyed vouchers will not be exchanged or refunded.
Privacy Policy
Albany Gallery does not disclose buyers' information to third parties. If you have selected delivery of your purchase, your contact details will be shared with the designated courier company for delivery of your goods.
If you have commissioned an artist, your contact details may be shared with that artist for the purpose of discussing the commission.
We may use cookies (small text files stored in your browser). You can choose to refuse cookies or you can set your browser to let you know each time that a website tries to set a cookie.
