Artist statement I have developed a technique involving the use of charcoal or ink pen combined with watercolours. The process of seeing a drawing turn into a painting is very satisfying especially when the charcoal/ink pen texture shows through the watercolours. I have undertaken numerous commissions, particularly pet portraits, where I focus on bringing out the character of the pet into a bespoke, personal, and unique piece of art. My work has been selected for The Royal Cambrian Academy of Art Open Exhibition 2023 and 2024.
