He painted and exhibited from his seagoing vessel for five years before moving to West Wales in 1965 to become one of the principalities foremost landscape artists. He works in water-colour, ink, and oil colour on paper. His paintings mostly relate to the coastal area of the Pembrokeshire peninsula. His work can be found in many important public and private collections.
